Can I try Snoozester before I buy?

Of course! Signing up for a Snoozester account is free and easy. After you sign up for an account, all you need to do is verify your phone number to receive ten free Snoozester Credits*. Use these credits to schedule wake up calls and reminders.

* - In order to discourage people from claiming free sign-up credits multiple times, we ask that you verify a phone number that has not already been used to claim the free sign-up credits.

What do I do if I forgot my password?

If you forget your password, please click on the forgot password link on the Login page.

How does Snoozester address misuse?

Snoozester takes the safety and privacy of the Snoozester community seriously and does not tolerate misuse of our systems. For more information, please see How Snoozester Addresses Misuse.

How do I cancel / close my Snoozester account?

To close your Snoozester account, log in, click on the [Settings] tab, the click on [Close Account] and follow the instructions.

Can I schedule Snoozester wake up calls and reminders from my phone?

Snoozester does not offer call-in-scheduling at this time. You can schedule your wake up calls and reminders online. If you have a mobile phone with an HTML-based web browser, you can use it to schedule wake up calls and reminders by going to Snoozester.com on your phone’s web browser.

Why do I need to verify my phone number?

Snoozester requires that you verify each phone number that you add to your account before you may receive wake up calls or reminders from Snoozester. Verifying phone numbers helps to prevent misuse of Snoozester by making it difficult to add someone else's phone number without their permission.

How do I verify my phone number?

After you add a phone number, Snoozester will automatically prompt you to verify that number by phone call or text message. If the number is a mobile phone number, you should verify it by text message so that you will be able to receive both calls and text messages from Snoozester. If your phone number is a landline (like a home phone number), you should verify it by phone call.

Can I use Snoozester with my home phone / landline?

Yes, you can receive Snoozester wake up calls and reminder calls on your US or Canadian home / landline phone.

Can I use Snoozester with my mobile phone?

Yes, you can receive wake up calls, reminder calls and reminder text messages on your US or Canadian mobile phone number.

What countries does Snoozester support?

You can access the Snoozester.com website to schedule calls from anywhere in the world. You can receive Snoozester wake up calls and reminder calls on any phone that has a U.S. or Canadian phone number. You can receive Snoozester reminder text messages on mobile phones with a 10-digit United States or Canadian phone number.

Can I send wake up calls or reminders to my friends and family members?

You can only receive Snoozester wake up calls and reminders on phone numbers that have been added to your account and verified. You may only add your friends’ and family members’ phone numbers to your account if you have their consent.

What is the difference between EasyAwake and SecureAwake?

When you schedule a SecureAwake call, we willl keep calling you every three minutes (for up to 20 minutes) until you let us know that you’re awake (just answer the call and follow the voice prompt).

If you schedule an EasyAwake call, we will only attempt the call one time.

What is a Snoozester Character?

Don’t let the name fool you: the Snoozester staff is one lively bunch. Their job is to make sure you wake up on time. When you schedule a call, you also decide which of our “characters”—prerecorded voices—will greet you the next morning. If you want to live dangerously, just choose "Random Character" and see who you get. Snoozester characters are the fun voices on the other end of the phone that greet you when you answer your Snoozester wake up call. Click here to meet all of the Snoozester characters.

Can I schedule a repeating wake up call?

Yes, you can schedule wake up calls that repeat at the same time every day, only on certain days, or weekly.

Do Snoozester wake up calls have a "Snooze" feature?

Of course, why do you think we call it Snoozester! You can Snooze a wake up call by answering the call and pressing the [2] key on your telephone keypad.

Can I pause my wake up calls?

If you would like to temporarily disable a wake up call: First click on the call from the list on the My Wake Up Calls Page, then set the Call Status radio button to "Disabled." Finally, click the Update Call button. Your call will not be deleted, and you can resume receiving calls in future by changing the call status to enabled.

Can I delete a wake up call?

Yes. To delete a wake up call: First click on the call from the list on the My Wake Up Calls Page, then click on the name of the call you would like to delete. Finally, click the Delete this call button at the bottom of the wake up call page.

Can I schedule a repeating reminder?

Yes - Snoozester lets you schedule both one-time and repeating reminders. You can schedule your reminder to be delivered at the same time every day, every X days, on certain days of the week, once per week, once per month or once per year.

Do Snoozester reminder calls have a "Snooze" feature?

What is the difference between a reminder call and a reminder text message?

When you schedule a reminder call, you will be prompted to type in a short reminder message (e.g. "Dentist appointment at 3:00 PM"). When the scheduled time arrives, Snoozester will call you and read your reminder to you over the phone using text-to-speech. If you schedule a reminder text message, Snoozester will send an SMS text message to your mobile phone with the text of the reminder at the scheduled time.

What are Snoozester Credits?

Snoozester credits are the units of payment for Snoozester wake up calls and reminders. Each credit is good for one wake up call or reminder.

How many credits does each wake up call cost?

Every time Snoozester calls your phone, one credit is subtracted from your account (except for phone number verification calls). For example, if you schedule an EasyAwake call, answer the call and then Snooze the call one time, Snoozester will subtract two Snoozester credits from your account (one for the original call and one for the Snooze call).
When you schedule a SecureAwake call, Snoozester will keep calling until you indicate (by pushing the correct key on your telephone keypad) that you are awake. Let’s say you had a long night and don’t pick up until Snoozester has tried you four times. Four credits (one for the initial call and one for each of the three automatic follow-up calls) will be subtracted from your account.

How many credits does each reminder call cost?

Every time Snoozester calls your phone, one Snoozester credit is subtracted from your account (except for phone number verification calls). For example, if you schedule a reminder call, answer the call and then Snooze the call one time, Snoozester will subtract two Snoozester credits from your account (one for the original call and one for the Snooze call).

How many credits does each reminder text message cost?

Each reminder text message costs one Snoozester credit.

How can I earn more free Snoozester credits?

You can earn free Snoozester credits by referring your friends to Snoozester. Log into your Snoozester account and click on the Invite a friend link to find out more about the referral program.

How much does each Snoozester credit cost?

The price of each Snoozester credit varies depending on your monthly plan or how many prepaid Snoozester credits you purchase at one time. For more information, please see our pricing page.

Do I need to sign up for a monthly plan?

Signing up for a monthly plan is a great way to save money on Snoozester credits, but you are not required to have a monthly plan to use Snoozester. You can purchase prepaid Snoozester credits at anytime.

What happens if I do not use all of the credits from my monthly plan?

Unused Snoozester credits from your monthly plan expire at the end of each billing cycle.

Can I purchase extra Snoozester credits if I am on a plan?

Yes you can. In fact, we recommend that you purchase extra prepaid Snoozester credits even if you are on a monthly plan, just in case you need to use more Snoozester credits in a month than your plan allows.

How do I cancel my monthly plan?

You can cancel your plan at anytime by clicking on Cancel Subscription button on the My Plan page. If you decide to cancel your plan, your remaining Snoozester credits from your monthly plan will remain active until the end of your current billing cycle.

How do I change my plan?

You can change your plan anytime by logging into your account, cancelling your current subscription, and signing up for a new monthly subscription plan.

What happens if I run out of Snoozester credits?

If you do not have any Snoozester credits in your Snoozester account, you will not receive your scheduled wake up calls or reminders.

How do Snoozester gift certificates work?

Snoozester gift certificates allow you to “Give the Gift of Snoozester.” When you purchase a Snoozester gift certificate, you will be prompted to enter your name and email address, the recipient’s name and email address as well as a personal message to the recipient. Once you have paid for the gift certificate, Snoozester will send the recipient an email containing general information about Snoozester, as well as a code to claim the Snoozester gift certificate. Snoozester will also send you a copy of the claim code for your records.

Do I need a Snoozester account to send a Snoozester gift certificate?

No, you do not need a Snoozester account or a PayPal account to send a Snoozester gift certificate.

Do I need a Snoozester account to redeem a Snoozester gift certificate?

You will need a Snoozester account to redeem your Snoozester gift certificate. Don’t worry, Snoozester accounts are free - create one now.

What is the difference between a gift certificate and prepaid credits?

Not much. Gift certificates are paid for by the sender and redeemed by the recipient. Prepaid credits are paid for and redeemed by the same person. Both prepaid credits and gift certificates (once redeemed) will show up in your account as prepaid credits.

What is PayPal?

PayPal is the company that processes payments for Snoozester; PayPal is one of, if not the most, well-known payment processing companies on the web.

Why does Snoozester use PayPal for payment processing?

We understand that the web can be a scary place, so we don't force you to trust Snoozester with your credit card or bank account information. Whenever you click on a button or a link to pay for a Snoozester service, you will be directed a secure page on PayPal's site (where you will be requested to complete your payment). After you complete your payment, PayPal alerts Snoozester that you have made a payment, but your personal financial information is never sent to Snoozester.

Do I need a PayPal account to use Snoozester?

You do not need a PayPal account to create a Snoozester account or to purchase Snoozester credits.
